The Droplet Separator of Filtrotecnica Italiana is the purpose to separate moisture and the drops of liquid carried by gaseous stream.

The droplet separator is composed by a sequence of fins having particular design allowing the gas stream to cross trough them. The drops carried by stream, due to  action of centrifugal force, impact the profiles surface running down and collected in suitable ducts

The droplet separator of Filtrotecnica Italiana is designed on the basis of the customer’s requirement and manufactured with materials suitable for the required need. The droplet separator can be manufactured with  frame in galvanized steel, stainless steel (AISI304L, AISI316L,  AISI316Ti) and marine aluminum class 5000.

The fins can be manufactured in extruded polypropylene or aluminum or with folded fins  made of galvanized steel, stainless steel (AISI 304L, AISI316L, AISI316Ti), marine aluminum class 5000.

Following the customer’s requirement, the droplet separator can be assembled bolted, riveted or completely welded and supplied with accessories on request such as discharge basins, connections, flanges, lifting lugs.
